三、教學目標 Objectives
資料探勘是從大量資料中發掘出潛藏的、嶄新的、有用的知識之程序。
藉由資料探勘，決策者得以產生更優質的決策與更出色的績效，進而提昇組織的競爭優勢。
資料探勘為資訊管理專業人員必須具備的專業技能。有鑑於此，本課程的目標是學習
資料探勘的概念、技術、及其應用，使學生具有就業市場中必備之專業技能。
Data mining is the process of discovering potential, novel, and useful knowledge from large amounts of data. Through data mining, decision makers can generate better decision and more prominent performance, so as to enhance the competitive advantage of the organization.
Data mining is a required capability of information management professionals.
In this course, therefore, students will learn the concepts, techniques, and applications of data mining, in order to acquire the required professional capability in the job market.
