Objectives | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Cultivating students to possess the skills of "entrepreneurship" can be said to be the last mile of the creative humanities program. From inspiring students' interest in the cultural and creative industry, deepening their professional skills in cultural and creative industries, and cultivating students' ability to operate the cultural and creative market, Soochow University has created a complete ecological chain of talent development and education. After ten years of promotion, this program finally opened an elective course related to entrepreneurship in the 109 academic year. However, the "entrepreneurship" advocated in this course is not a narrow meaning of asking students to "seek funds and open a shop to be a boss", but to encourage students to actively self-demand and exercise themselves to "create employment opportunities". Every project proposal that students try to complete is to allow students to understand themselves and master the market in an all-round way, and to test their potential and ambition. This course will be positioned as the "greenhouse garden" of "ideas". Through systematic proposals and practical training, the seeds of entrepreneurial ideas can grow stronger. This course will cooperate with the school’s innovative unit "T Hub". Students in the course can use the T Hub space for free as a base for team entrepreneurship and participate in the lectures, seminars, fields, etc. it provides activity. This course does not adopt the standard training method of the general innovation incubation center, and does not blindly encourage students to start their own businesses. Our training goal is not to urge students to engage in an innovative job (taking innovation as a career), but to educate students to become an innovator (loving innovation from the bottom of my heart). |
