| 三、教學目標 Objectives |
| 本課程旨在介紹中英筆譯之基本理論，以及翻譯各類文體常用之技巧與原則，培養學生中英雙向對譯之能力、建立正確之翻譯概念，同時亦將於課堂中簡介中英語法之對比分析，以及常見之誤譯實例。透過講授、討論及學生反覆演練，期能使學生更清楚理解翻譯觀並增進中英對譯之能力。 |
| This course aims to introduce translation theories, and principles and skills in translating different types of writings. In this course, students will develop their translation skills from English to Chinese and from Chinese to English, and learn about correct attitude toward translation practices, contrastive analyses of English and Chinese grammars, and keen awareness of errors commonly found in Chinese-English and English-Chinese translation works. Through in-class practices, discussions and assignments, students are expected to gain a clearer understanding of translation as a subject and to command better skills in rendering the source language into the target language. |
