三、教學目標 Objectives
Course Objective: The purpose of the class is to let students practice the types of English structures that are commonly used in business. The five key areas that will be covered are: Socializing, Telephoning, Meetings, Making Business Presentations, and Negotiating. No special knowledge of business terms or concepts is required.

Presentation:

Each student will present your idea for a small business you would like to start. The idea need not be original but it should be realistic. The teacher will give you more details in May.


In Class Grading: The In Class portion [25%] of the final grade will be calculated as follows

Minutes Absent In Class Grade
0 - 29 90
30 - 150 85
151 – 330 80
331 - 450 70
451 – 538 50
539 – 600 30
601 - 719 0
> 719 - 20

These grades may be adjusted up (or down) by as much as 10 % if the teacher feels that the student has made an effort far above (or below) the general level or the other students. If you hope to increase your grade try the following:
