三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程主要目標在於促進學生用英文自我表達的能力，能說出完整的句子、提問、並能對話和討論感興趣的主題，同時建立英文字彙量。課堂相關的閱讀教材將由授課教師提供。
The primary purposes of the course are to foster an ability at self-expression in English, the ability to speak in sentences, ask questions, present topics of interest and engage in dialogs and discussions as well as developing an active English vocabulary. Related reading material will consist of handouts provided by the instructor.
四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description The primary purposes of the course are to foster an ability to engage in meaningful conversation in English, to speak in sentences and engage others in topics of interest. Students are expected to introduce topics on a weekly basis, to write dialogs, to use Engliish-English dictionaries to understand vocabulary and more readily define words and ideas in English and foster the skill of thinking in English. Students are expected to keep a journal to write down ideas, to write definitions of words and to write dialogs. Reading material will consist of handouts provided by the instructor. Three unexcused absences are grounds for failing the class.
