這門專題研究主要討論健康心理學最新的知識,了解生物、行為、及環境因素如何影響健康與疾病,以及改善方案。我們將會以生物-心理-社會的整合模式來探討人在其脈絡中如何與環境互動影響健康的結果。 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This graduate seminar presents an overview of current theory and research in the field of health psychology. The course emphasizes the biopsychosocial model of understanding health and illness. Through class lectures, readings, and discussions, students will learn how characteristics of persons (e.g., personality, behavior, coping, biological reactivity) and their environments (e.g., stress, social support, poverty, discrimination) influence health outcomes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

●整體敘述 Overall Description The aims of this course are threefold. First, students will become acquainted with current knowledge in substantive areas, including risk and protective factors in development of illness, stress and coping, and macro-level factors. Second, students will develop an understanding of the models, theories, and methods used in health psychology. Third, students will be able to develop and practice health promotion programs and techniques. |
