| 三、教學目標 Objectives | ||||
| 人的一生之中總是在進行選擇，其中更有不少的「困難抉擇」（hard choices）。困難抉擇之所以是困難的，並不在於量化的衡量，而是取決於價值的取捨。我們會尋求內在與外在的「理由」來協助我們進行判斷、從事選擇、進而採取行動，這些行動理由的產生，都有賴於行動者的分析與推理。「推理」（reasoning）使「理由」（reasons）浮現，「推理」也使「理性」（reason）呈顯。人類理性的核心價值履行在日常生活與實踐智慧之中，就是「推理」的展現。 | ||||
| Human life is like a journey of continuous choices, among which there are many hard choices. Hard choices are hard, because they are involved in evaluating different kinds of quality, value, and ethics. We always look for different internal or external reasons to help us engaging in judgements, making decisions, and taking actions. Reasons as reasons is due to reasoning in contexts. Human rationality is manifested through reasoning in actions. The core values of human life can be realised in how we practice various good reasonings in the hard choices, and can be understood as the practical wisdom. To be or not to be? Traveler or drifter? That is the main question! | ||||
