三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程旨在介紹，以及帶領修課同學，一起討論關於人生的重大哲學議題，特別是來自於東方傳統之哲學家的觀點。主要目標在於幫助同學，增加對於人生哲學議題的瞭解，並從中培養建立個人批判性論述的能力。為了達到這個目標，且考量東方傳統之人生哲學思考，需伴隨經典之研讀，方能轉出其中底蘊，本課程的進行方式，將研讀近年出版之學術論文，以及相應之傳統文獻。
This course aims to introduce and help students to discuss the big issues about the philosophy of life, especially in the eastern philosophical tradition. The main purpose of this course is to aid students to gain knowledge of issues of the philosophy of life, and to have abilities to make critical arguments. For this purpose, and as is required in studying philosophy in the eastern tradition to familiarize with classical texts, we will study recently published research papers and also relevant classical texts.
四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description
在上學期人生哲學一的課程中，我們已經仔細研讀，並且討論了一些來自於西方傳統的重要觀點，這學期的人生哲學二，將以來自東方傳統的觀點為中心。與上學期相同，本課程同樣不需要預先有任何先修課程，歡迎有興趣同學選修。

未來課程進行方式，將為師生共同仔細研讀與討論選讀論文，以及論文所涉及之古代經典和其他相關資料。此外，為了擴充本課程對東方傳統人生哲學思維的介紹，課程內容將除了中國古代哲學以外，尚包含日本、韓國、越南與禪宗等領域，也包括當代重要漢學家的詮釋。綜合來說，本課程主要討論的議題，包含命運與人生際遇、惡與人生自主、逍遙與人生苦樂、「極高明而道中庸」與人生境界，以及生死問題等。
