三、教學目標 Objectives
介紹各種翻譯策略，翻譯實作與講解，鼓勵學生將作品發表印製成書。
This course aims to introduce students to (1) the practice of English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation, (2) common problems that appear in English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation, and (3) techniques and strategies of English-Chinese and Chinese-English translations. The students will read representative essays by translation critics on this subject, compare and analyze existing translations, and practice translating English masterpieces themselves. The students will also be encouraged to publish their translations done in this seminar.

●整體敘述 Overall Description
This course aims to introduce students to (1) the basic practice of English-Chinese translation, (2) common problems that appear in English-Chinese translation, and (3) techniques and strategies of English-Chinese translations. The students will read representative essays by translation critics on this subject, compare and analyze existing translations, and practice translating English masterpieces themselves.
