三、教學目標 Objectives

本課程主要內容是介紹有關網路與資料庫之技術與發展趨勢，以及說明如何訂定碩士論文方向和主題與如何進行碩士論文之撰寫。因此，本課程之整體內容包含七大部份：一、通訊網路技術與發展趨勢；二、資料庫技術與發展趨勢：三、文獻搜尋與閱讀技巧；四、論文撰寫；五、簡報技巧；六、最新的ICT之發展趨勢與創新應用；此外，每位同學將作有關網路、資料庫以及人工智慧之技術與應用之課堂簡報和討論。總之，本課程主要目的是培養同學論文之主題選定、閱讀能力、簡報與寫作技巧的專業基礎。

The main context of this course is to introduce new technologies and development trends in networking and database, and describe how to refine the direction and topic in Master thesis and also how to write and finalize the Master Thesis. Hence, the course series systematically covers seven main parts: Part I: Networking Technologies and Trends; Part II: Database Technologies and Trends; Part III: Studies Surveys and Reading Skills; Part IV: Thesis Writings; Part V: Presentation Skills; Part VI: Development Trends and Innovative Applications in Novel ICT. In addition, all students make final presentation in related novel technologies and applications issues of networking, database and AI (Artificial Intelligence) for on-class seminars. In summary, the main purposes of this course are to catch full understandings in topic setting, reading capability, presentation and writing skills of Master Thesis for professional basis.
