三、教學目標 Objectives
產險準備金主要包括未滿期保費準備金及賠款準備金。本學期主要將教授賠款準備金之方法，包括各種基本及進階之方法。同時也會教授台灣有關準備金之相關法規。學生於學期結束後，應對於各項準備金提方法有完整的概念，並且能應用於實務上。

另外學生也必須完成一項保險商品專案。學生在此專案必須撰寫條款、蒐集資料、擬訂費率及準備相關送審文件。藉由該專案，學生應對商品開發有完整之瞭解並能應用於實務。
Starting with the basic P&C actuarial terminology, the calss will cover the various basic and advanced techniques that the actuary can use to develop estimated liabilities for unpaid claims or review reserves. The class will also introduce Taiwan regulations related with the reserving.
Students should have a thorough understanding of the basic and advanced reserving mechanisms, so that they can collect required data, and use the appropriate techniques to estimate the reserves for general insurance.

In addition, students should finish a project to develop an insurance product. In this project, students should writhe clauses, collect data, price, and prepare required document. After finishing the project, students shuold have a thorough understanding of the process of product development.
