三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程旨在引介社會學之本質和社會學分析之基本概念，及社會生活中不同層面之結構和角力。 完成本課程後，學生預期可以 1. 比較對照不同社會學之視角； 2. 評鑑系統性社會研究所用之研究方法； 3. 闡釋人們之生活如何為各種社會因素形塑； 4. 分析社會不公之原因；及 5. 應用社會理論及概念分析社會現象；
To introduce the nature of sociology and the basic concepts used in sociological analysis, as well as various aspects of the structures anddynamics of social life. Upon completion of the course, students are expected be able to a. Compare and contrast major sociological perspectives; b. Evaluate research methods used in the systematic study of society; c. Illustrate how people’s lives are shaped by different social factors; d. Analyze the underlying causes of social inequalities; and e. Apply sociological theories and concepts to explain social phenomenon.
