三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程將提供學生能跨過其所屬科系之專業領域的疆界，順利理解不同領域的相關知識，並且進一步地去思考日常社會背後的運作機制，培養觀察現代生活應具備的重要知識，與豐富多元的思考能力。具體來說，這堂課希望達成的核心精神有二：
（1）理解社會學基礎知識；
（2）培養思辨批判社會結構與現象的能力。

四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description
課堂透過當前的生活經驗作為討論的開端，希望藉由這些說明使同學體會社會學如何觀察社會的構成，同時在過程中論辯不同的文化價值。期中考試之前，我們希望帶領同學理解個人與社會的連結關係，以及用社會學的視角來考察社會制度與結構的生成與對個人行為的影響。

期中考試之後，本課堂將介紹就業社會、人口、社會運動、社會問題與公共政策，進一步地發現社會學如何分析與應用在當代社會。我們也將因著相關主題安排紀錄片觀賞，影像的呈現將更有助於同學理解該主題，並帶動延伸思考。
