三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程的目的是讓學生熟悉並練習不同目標和情境的聽，說，讀，寫英語。
課程將採用語言中心指定教科書籍、教師額外補充之其他由雜誌、網頁或電影的精選作品當作教材與主題， 期望學生通過教師的講解、引導、並參與所設計的課堂活動與課後練習等方式來提高整體的英語能力:
--讀與寫
*加強學生閱讀英文之速度及理解力
*落實學生單字及文法知識
*增進學生書寫正確英文語句之能力
--聽與說
*加強學生發音技巧
*增進學生聽力，著重基本會話
*培養學生自信以及正面學習語言之態度
The objectives of this course are to acquaint the students with listening, speaking, reading, and writing English for different goals and situations.
The course will cover a selection of works from textbooks, magazines, Web Pages, and films.
The students are expected to develop their comprehensive proficiency in English through the teacher's instructions and guide, participation of classroom activities, assignments, and exercises orientated towards such goals and objectives:

--Reading/ Writing Component:
*To improve students’ speed and comprehension in reading English
*To build their vocabulary and grammar knowledge
*To sharpen their skills in writing correct English sentences.

--Listening/ Speaking Component:
*To improve students’ pronunciation skills
*To increase their listening abilities by focusing on basic conversations
*To foster self-confidence and a positive attitude toward language learning
四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description
本課程依小組老師同意共同採用適合學生程度的 New Interactions 1　為主要教材，全書共計10單元，每單元分上、下學期進行。
教師除運用此書及所附雲端電子教材外，將佐以相關補充教材，含ＰＰＴ、影片、多媒體輔助教材及網路資源等，以互動方式帶領同學實際練習英文的聽、說、讀、寫，期許同學能藉由主動積極的學習態度及參與精神達到全面提升英語的目標。
