三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程為社會學專業的基礎必修課程之一，分為一學年上下學期教授。主要的教學目標在於傳授統計基本概念、原理，以及統計分析方法，使學生俱備進一步解析當前社會問題與社會現象的能力，並培養學生在社會科學的專業上俱有良好的統計邏輯與統計運用基礎。本學期的授課重點為雙變量與多變量之推論統計。
This course will introduce the basics of inferential statistics, mainly on bivariate and multivariate levels of statistical analyses. Both parameteric and nonparametric statistics will be introduced.
