三、教學目標 Objectives
本學期課程將針對當代政治哲學中各種正義思潮的辯論，並檢視不同流派的基本主張與爭議

二 、評量方式：
1.本課程有專屬的課程網頁供同學討論之用，每位同學必須在確定選修本課程之後，到東吳大學網路教學學習網的網頁(http://isee.scu.edu.tw/ 點選歐美當代政治思想) 進行登錄程序，並須經由授課老師確認。同學經確認後，可以透過網頁下載每週必讀文章以及老師上課的講義，並且可以繳交作業以及進行線上討論。
2. 上課實作與討論(30%): 本課程的設計主要以討論為主，同時將會針對不同議題以分組的方式進行審議。因此本課程能否順利進行，端賴同學的積極參與，以及在課堂上所提出的問題及看法。
3. 社會正義研究報告(70%)，分成二個部份。每部份佔成績35 %。
社會正義研究報告I：「不義經驗」田野個案採訪（以組為單位，上台和書面報告）
社會正義研究報告II：闡明、分析與檢討適用第一部份個案的概念或理論，並針對妳認為最能幫助我們理解和處理該個案面臨的不義問題，提出政策建議。（至少討論兩個理論，每個人要交自己的思考和分析，不得抄襲。）

This course is designed to introduce John Rawls’s " A
Theory of Justice", though brief attention will be paid to later work. Moreover, we will discuss some of the most important and most interesting work in recent political philosophy. Focusing in one way or another on the subjects of justice and equality, most of these pieces were published in the 80s and 90s, to some extent in reaction to either Rawls’ Theory of Justice or Nozick’s Anarchy, State, and Utopia. Through presentations and papers, you will be
encouraged to develop your own ideas and/or do independent research on specific
debates that you find particularly interesting.
四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description
本課程主要目的在探討近三十年來當代歐美政治哲學的發展，特別是1971年羅爾斯《正義論》出版之後的理論發展，以及反省這些政治哲學的發展與政治實踐的關係，使同學能對當代歐美政治哲學有一基本的理解。本課程將教授和討論，當代處理社會正義問題的主要理論觀點。他們分別是：效益主義、自由放任主義、羅爾斯的正義論、能力途徑、批判途徑等等。
本課程在考察社會正義理論的同時，也會針對臺灣社會所出現的不正義事件進行分析，作為課程文本所提供的正義理論的參照。因此課程目標除了期待同學學習和討論不同理論觀點之外，同學還需針對一個和正義相關的議題或個案，作田野訪談，討論或修正可能適用該個案的理論或概念，並提出政策建議。
