| 三、教學目標 Objectives |
| 自由與容忍及其合宜關係乃源生於自由主義的理念與論爭，也是必須安置於憲政民主體制的課題。伴隨著全球化所傳佈和衍生的多種差異，政治學作為旨在切事的在地學科，實有迫切之必要從概念與實踐中，認識兩者對維繫良好之民主政體的複雜作用。 |
| Liberty and tolerance and their appropriate relationship are derived from liberal ideas and controversies, and they are also substantial themes that must be placed properly in a constitutional democratic system. With the various differences spread and derived from globalization are the dominant dimension of contemporary daily life. As a local discipline, political science is indeed urgently necessary to understand the complex role and impacts of the two in maintaining a good democracy. |

置身後真相、全球化與數位網絡社會，議論「什麼是自由」仍有無可替代的重要性與必要性？所謂自由會不會只剩一個聲稱、感受或幻覺（以『我覺得』當發語詞，擁有自由幻覺的奴隸），已無法共同議論的價值和可交流和相互確證的日常真實？由此仍有必要追求判斷力、責任感與批判？在回答以上問題時，大學生應如何看待自己的角色？民主政體是最能保障個人自由與尊重差異的政體？需要哪些條件？如何使明辨和容忍差異成為基本的公民德行？ |
