三、教學目標 Objectives
教授分子生物學的核心觀念，增進分子微生物學領域的養成，在分子層面上探討基因的結構和功能，並包含介紹相關的分子生物實驗技術，使修課學生增進其分子微生物和細胞微生物之知識，培養分析實際實驗數據與推理之能力，並具備資料收集、整理及書面、口頭報告的能力，使對分子生物的基礎知識和最新的研究方向，有進一步的了解和認知。
The objective of this course is to introduce the core concepts of molecular biology including the structures and functions of genes at the molecular level, related experimental techniques and their applications. Students will understand the important concepts along with experiments that led to those concepts and appreciate the relationship between the experiments and concepts.
