三、教學目標 Objectives
本學期普通微生物學(一)之學習內容主要包括下列單元：

微生物學世界與其發展；Ch 1: The Microbial World and You
微生物觀察與檢驗；Ch 3: Observing Microorganisms through a Microscope
原核細胞與真核細胞；Ch 4: Functional Anatomy of Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cells
微生物代謝作用；Ch 5: Microbial Metabolism
微生物生長；Ch 6: Microbial Growth
微生物控制；Ch 7: The Control of Microbial Growth

著重微生物原核細胞結構、顯微鏡觀察與檢驗、微生物生長與控制等與普通生物學不同之處。
This course covers basic concepts of microbiology to an understanding of the fundamental processes of living organisms. Topics include the microbial world and you, chemical principle, observing microorganisms through a microscope, functional anatomy of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, microbial metabolism, microbial growth and its' control.
