三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程將帶領學生邁入生命科學之旅，充實學生生命有關的生命科學基礎知識，給予學生建構主義之觀點---科學知識是來自建構於過去的關點與發現之上，所以一直在更新，無法獨立於人的經驗外，亦受制於人類原先的信念和想法；使學生對生命科學有初步的概念。首先介紹生物五界特色，而後介紹植物生理及動物生理，包括生物基本結構、代謝與功能。
The second semester of General Biology will lead students to learn the classification and physiology of all life organisms as traveling through life science. To learn the basic knowledge and the construction of life science. The concepts of life science are rules concluded from scientific experiments. All the hypothesis come from the past established rules and theories. The classification, plant physiology and animal physiology will be introduced in this second semester of General Biology to bring the students whole life science pictures
