三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程透過對於美國聯邦最高法院判例之研讀及討論，期使同學充分了解美國憲法之基本概念及審查準則，用以借鑑比較我國憲法運作之體系。
By studying and class discussion of the precedents rendered by the U.S. Supreme Court, this course expects to assist students to fully understand the basic concepts and standards of review under the U.S. Constitution, and thereby provides analytical basis for studying our own Constitutional system.
四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description 本課程透過對於美國聯邦最高法院判例之研讀及討論，期使同學充分了解美國憲法之基本概念及審查準則，用以借鑑比較我國憲法運作之體系。 美國憲法之學年課程涵蓋Supreme Court’s Authority、Federalism and Federal Power Generally、Federal Commerce Power、Other National Powers、Separation of Powers、Due Process of Law、Justiciability、Equal Protection、Congressional Enforcement of Civil Rights、Freedom of Expression、Freedom of Religion及等大章節。第二學期之教學範圍為Equal Protection、Congressional Enforcement of Civil Rights、Freedom of Expression及Freedom of Religion等四個主題。
