三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程內容分成兩學期. 第一學期將討論個體經濟學的部分, 第二學期則討論總體經濟學. 第一學期的課程目標旨在介紹經濟學基本原理, 消費者選擇, 廠商行為, 市場結構與政府政策等議題. 同學將學習如何利用經濟模型來分析重要的經濟現象: 包含市場如何透過供給與需求決定價格, 政府政策如何影響市場均衡結果, 廠商如何決定價格與產量等. 第二學期, 我們將介紹國民所得, 物價水準, 經濟成長, 貨幣政策與財政政策等議題.

This is a two-semester course. In the first semester, we introduce economic issues of Microeconomics. In the second-semester, we focus on those of Macroeconomics. In the first semester, I will introduce the principles of economics, consumer choice, firm behavior, market structures, government policies. Student shall learn how to use economic models to analyze various economics issues, including how supply and demand determine market prices, how government policies affect market equilibrium, how firms in different market structures decide their prices and outputs. In the second semester, we will introduce national income, price level, economic growth, monetary and fiscal policies, etc.
