三、教學目標 Objectives | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
本課程探討世界歷史如何從羅馬帝國衰亡到游牧部族的所向披靡,古典文明的終結使得世界歷史邁向中世紀基督教文明的高度發展期,同時伊斯蘭教的興起,土耳其和蒙古人的征服到伊斯蘭帝國的日益擴張,以及拜占廷文明的中流砥柱。1500年之前政治、社會、經濟、文化的重大變遷例如:封建制度、莊園經濟、技術發展、城鎮的復甦、貿易與經濟的繁榮,民族國家的崛起、政教衝突、瘟疫的蔓延、兵聯禍結引發的動盪、混亂儘管造成生靈塗炭,但也啟動了社會的創造力,帶來許多現代世界賴以萌芽的契機。 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The course is to study how the world history developed from the declining Roman Empire to overwhelming nomadic sectors. The termination of classic civilization made the world history reach its highest development of Christian civilization in middle ages. In the meantime, new regional powers arised, Islam, Turkey, and Mongolians empires. They all expanded to a certain degree. Byzantine civilization became the center of world history. There had been significant changes in political systems, social organizations, economic diversities, and cultural forms since 1500. Feudalism, manorial economy, new technologies, urbane revival, and trading economy were all prosperous. Though the rising of national countries, political and religious conflicts, and the spread of plaque had caused chaos, they also liberated the originality and creativity of the society which had introduced the opportunity of the development of modern world. |
