三、教學目標 Objectives
提高學生的實際業務相關通信技能。灌輸適當的道德和禮儀。增加學生對問題的認識和特殊需要的業務夥伴和關係。在今天的第三次工業革命中, 接觸和瞭解他們 (學生) 自己的潛在未來, 並規劃相關成果。跨文化意識的培養。培養學生的能力去創建和運行他們自己創業或仁慈的社會服務以英語為母語的社區。
To enhance students’ practical business-related communications skills. To inculcate appropriate ethics and etiquette. To increase students’ understanding of the concerns and particular needs of business partners and relationships. To understand their own potential futures in today's Third Industrial Revolution and plan relevant futures and outcomes. To develop cross-cultural awareness. To develop students’ abilities to create and run their own start-up business or benevolent society servicing an Anglophone community.
四、課程內容 Course Description
整體敘述 Overall Description
In the beginning of term, students will learn how to do Q&A and properly meet and greet in a business or casual setting. You will create a CV and do mock interviews. Following this, you will learn about modern economics and its potential impact on the business environment and employment opportunities in the future. Toward that end, you will view a two introductory videos, explore some fundamental concepts emerging in the business world today, learn best practices and distinguish best practices from SOP (standard operating procedures), explore in-depth a topic/field of modern business, assess appropriate business metrics for that field, learn to apply statistical data analysis to that business metric, create a digital platform (film or interactive media) that promotes the essentials of what you have learned and, finally, disseminate your materials to an appropriate audience.
