三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程介紹美國自南北戰爭以降的時代變化、特徵、與重要文學作品，包含馬克土溫、亨利詹姆斯、與海明威等人的著作，透過這些作品的閱讀與討論，讓同學熟悉美國近代的歷史變遷與人文思想。
The objectives of the course are to familiarize students with a selection of the significant works of post-Civil War American Literature, including those by Mark Twain, Henry James and Ernest Hemingway.
