| 三、教學目標 Objectives |
| 這門課為上學期課程之延續。學生將進一步研讀經典英文短篇小說，俾以培養文學詮釋能力並提升跨文化能力。 |
| This course is a sequel of last semester's English novel course. Students are expected to continue to read more classics of short fiction in order to cultivate their literary competence and enhance their cross-cultural awareness. |
| 四、課程內容 Course Description |
●整體敘述 Overall Description
Like what we did in the last semester, students will read each week a short story as assigned in the syllabus. As students have gained more experience in reading English novels, our discussion in class will be expected to be more broad and thorough. For the purpose of contrast and comparison, some non-English stories (in translation, if available) will be included in this course. |
