| 三、教學目標 Objectives |
| 本學期本課程之教學目標設定為在前學期所奠定之對英美兩國散文的充分認識之下，繼續引導學生欣賞英美兩國十七世紀到廿世紀著名散文家之作品，並且從作品當中汲取人生智慧與了解各年代作家所關心的社會議題。 |
| Based upon the solid knowledge of the development of essays in Britain and America, the goals of this course for the second semester will include: 1. leading students to appreciate and evaluate essays by famous American and British writers of the past and the present; 2. understanding the individual writer's wisdom of life and key issues that dwelled in the minds of these great essayists. |
