三、教學目標 Objectives
「大數據時代」已經來臨！
大數據是指數量龐大、型態多樣化、以及需要快速即時處理的資料。
大數據的實例不勝枚舉，例如，社群網站 Facebook 與搜尋引擎 Google 都擁有大數據。
大數據分析能為政府機構、企業、甚至個人帶來極大的商機與利益。
我國政府非常重視大數據分析所能產生的市場價值，
企業亦大聲疾呼對於大數據分析人才的迫切需求。
資料科學家已被「哈佛商業評論」譽為21世紀最誘人的工作之一，
在臺灣已成為10大熱門職缺。
Python是目前最熱門的程式語言之一，同時也是人工智慧與大數據中最受歡迎的程式語言。
有鑑於此，本課程的教學目標是以Python程式語言作為核心，
讓學生學習在大數據分析上所使用的概念與技術。
完成本課程後，學生將具備資料科學家所需之專業技能。
The age of big data has arrived!
Big data refers to data with large volume and variety that needs to be processed in real time.
Big data analytics can bring huge opportunities and benefits for government organizations, enterprises, and even individuals.
Data scientists have been recognized by Harvard Business Review as the most promising job in the 21th centuries and has become the top 10 popular jobs in Taiwan.
Python is currently one of the most widely used programming languages
as well as the most popular programming language for artificial intelligence and big data.
The teaching objective of this course, therefore, is to use the Python programming language as the core so as to let students learn the concepts and techniques used in big data analytics.
At completion of this course, students should obtain the professional capability required by data scientists.
