三、教學目標 Objectives
本科目旨在使有心從事研究工作或進修的大學部四年級學生及早嘗試和熟悉研究工作之推展，作為進入研究所之準備工作，提早適應未來研究所的生活，課程內容包括資料蒐集、實驗設計、邏輯思考、推理、儀器分析、撰寫研究報告及發表等。主要是訓練學生藉由研究工作學習遇到問題時能發現問題並及時解決問題的能力，同時也加強學生之閱讀能力、收集及整理期刊資料的能力、操作儀器及分析數據的能力、撰寫專題報告與口頭表達之能力，同時經由老師與學生的互動與腦力激盪，強化學生的思考模式及應變能力，也讓學生了解研究工作的目摽，讓學生具有獨立研究工作的能力，進而達到學以致用的教學目標。

四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description 學生進入實驗室後，即依照指導教授所指定，與其研究領域相關之研究題目進行專題研究課程，首先針對專題生實施個人基本訓練，包括相關期刊資料收集、基礎實驗技術與儀器操作等 訓練，然後即進行實驗合成、養晶、結構解析與儀器分析等工作，同時於每週進行討論會報， 除報告實驗進度與期刊內容外，並針對實驗所遇到的困難與解決方法進行討論，並於學期結束後進行專題研究口頭報告，同時繳交專題研究書面報告。
