本課程不僅介紹機率理論，並將此課程廣泛的應用在很多領域，如精算數學，財務工程，財務管理和工業工程。目標是幫助決策者在不確定情況下做出正確的決策。
The course is to present not only probability theory but also diverse applications of this subject in many fields such as actuarial mathematics, financial engineering, financial management and industrial engineering. The goal is to help decision makers make right decisions under uncertainty.
