| 微積分是數學與許多專業科目的基礎，課程在銜接高中數學的內容。內容則包括極限和連續函數概念、單變數函數微分和積分技巧架構微積分的理論，使學生能熟練計算技巧。下學期則介紹無窮序列、無窮級數和多變量微積分，習慣使用數學推理邏輯方法，並且未來在各種領域中應用微積分的能力。 |
| Calculus is a part of modern mathematics education. A course in calculus is a gateway to other, more advanced courses in mathematics devoted to the study of functions and limits, broadly called mathematical analysis. Calculus has historically been called "the calculus of infinitesimals", or "infinitesimal calculus". The term calculus (plural calculi) is also used for naming specific methods of calculation or notation as well as some theories. |
