三、教學目標 Objectives
經濟一詞來自希臘語 oikonomos，意思是“管理家庭的人”。 經濟學研究如何以最有效地實現管理目標的方式引導稀缺資源。 本課程的目標是幫助學生了解需要哪些經濟學信息才能做出明智的決定，然後收集和處理數據。上學期著重於個體經濟部份，下學期則討論總體經濟部份。
The word economy comes from the Greek word oikonomos, which means “one who manages a household.” Economics is the study of how to direct scarce resources in the way that most efficiently achieves a managerial goal. The goal of the course is to help the student know what information about economics is needed to make an informed decision and then to collect and process the data. The part of Microeconomics will be focused on in the first semester of an academic year, and Macroeconomics discussed in the second semester.
