三、教學目標 Objectives

金融業是最重要的服務業，是企管系畢業生的主要就業之一．本課程將介紹各種金融機構-銀行、證券、保險、投信、與金融周邊事業，讓同學了解各個金融機構的經營模式、獲利方式、工作樣態、與所需技能，並介紹各種金融機構的重要管理方法-風險管理，讓同學具備理論與實務的知識．

Financial institutions are the corner stones of the modern economy, and they offer plenty of job opportunities for Business Administration graduates. This course will cover most kind of current financial institutions, including Commercial Banks, Investment Banks, Insurance Companies, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and other financial peripherals. We will talk about the management framework, business model, job patterns, and the skills needed for each Financial institution. Besides, we will cover the risk management framework for financial institutions. Hopefully the students will get a sense of the theoretical management framework and the empirical practice as well.
